And I'm staying at a non-Marriott property who returns shirts with collars buttoned. So again, it's hotel specific.
I'm simply asking Marriott to standardize the practice and not unbutton shirt collars.
the majority of hotels have it outsourced but the larger hotels (and I'm talking the really large ones) they do have it inhouse - it just doesn't make sense for smaller hotels to invest in getting into the laundry business...they won't execute it well and they won't receive the needed ROI so you'd have upset owners and upset guests....if you had an issue with laundry I would encourage you to provide feedback to the hotel directly
