If not, then I will guess that the Gold Passport system, a relatively recent invention, is incompatible with the 1960's spaghetti COBOL reservation system that nobody still alive understans, and the juryrigging required to make a points reservation doesn't allow for the display of points required for a stay at a given hotel.
