I'm flying next week from YUL to HKG via YYZ in Y as a SL for the first time through a ticket purchased straight from CX that includes the WS codeshare service from YUL to YYZ (I used to purchase them separately).
Will CX staff in YYZ attach priority tags if WS tags it all the way to HKG? Or will WS have them in YUL?
I, too, am in a big rush to leave HKG asap as I have a commitment shortly after the arrival time.
Thanks.

I know that when I did an AA-CX connection at ORD last year, I realized in HKG that the AA agent in DCA had not priority tagged the bag (I was in Y), and CX had not put a tag on in transit. I hadn't noticed when I checked in because it was early and I was still half-asleep, and anyway I wasn't sure if oneworld rules provided for priority handling based on status.
Before AA starts to put the OW Prioirty label, my experience is that CX sometimes will put a priority tag on my bag, and sometimes not, during transit (and travelling in Y). However, whether the tag is there or not, my bag in general come out with the prioirty ones anyway.
