At IAH at a non-peak time/season/day it took me 1h30min or more. On the M&M forum those wait times are routinely reported. That's been the norm for years for non-citizens.
I was interested to see the pre-check TSO at ORD standing and waiting for 'customers' for 15 minutes at a time or more - literally just standing around bored, while the elite queue had a wait time of about 45 minutes. (TSA wait times continue to shock me even though I am generally permitted to use elite queues, compared to my usual 0-10 minutes wait elsewhere)
