No, havn't thought of that.

I can't say I am fond of the classic/retro look and the shiny aluminium (although I have seen older versions of the Classic in black also).


Tell me though, why do you consider the Classic a "better bag"?



This FlyerTalk thread seem to suggest that the Topas would be a better choice/compromise over the Classic.


Also, I only like black colored luggage, in which case I would choose the Topas Stealth instead (to me, this case has the ideal color I wish all my luggage would be in.....matte black).


I am not much of a fan of alu cases (even though I like the look), because I can't imagine my brand new alu Classic or Stealth being dented and scrathed. I think I would prefer at this time to have a case that could take some abuse.


Another consideration for me is weight, a poly case is going be lighter than an alu case (I would be willing to compromise on weight though):

...and as you can see from my previous post, I am somewhat particular about cases being 2-wheels (instead of 4-wheels), I am starting think that I may need to compromise on that though (I could probably find a 2-wheel Classic 26" online)
