2007 is when the current OW lounge was new ... which is not long at all in terms of LAX and TBIT rebuilding That new lounge was a very painful process, with temporary lounge in a hangar for a year (and costing the airlines about $15 million just for the temporary lounge!). Too bad that the rebuild plan wasn't a bit more far-sighted but LAX was still planning on demolishing T1-2-3 at the time instead of expanding TBIT further.
