We did not have a 24 on duty butler, as i experienced in several other resorts, but there was a "floor responsible" that introduced himself to us on the very first day and showed up once in a while to check if everything was fine.
Not sure what a "floor responsible" is, but I don't believe i interacted with anyone like that during either of our stays. Not sure if this is a status perk or something else (I am a lowly SPG Lifetime Gold), but this sounds like you were singled out for special attention for whatever reason.
