Thanks for posting this! UAL is down 2 1/2 % today...

Looks like mixed results... Obviously some things that have gone badly. But also some positive signs as well. It will be interesting to see what Q2 and Q3 look like.

What system is this?

Contrast UA to DL:

"Delta Air Lines Inc. on Wednesday reported strong revenue gains for the first quarter as it trimmed capacity and increased fares, a strategy that has helped offset high fuel prices but has made flying more costly for passengers.

Delta's unit revenue, or the amount taken in for each seat flown a mile, increased by 14% from the first quarter of 2011—a gain that is expected to lead the industry."

UA: "Per-mile passenger revenue rose 5.5%, a smaller gain than other airlines have been reporting."
