Could it be a mileage broker?

Can you use credit cards to purchase this "ticket?"

If not, that may be a sign of you buying an award tix from a company whose business model is to "buy" miles from some frequent flyers then sell those award tickets to whoever is in need.

If this site in question operates in "certain ways" as a mileage broker, that may be a logical explanation to the zero-mile earning capacity of such deeply discounted C tix:

Anyone ever booked with "Luxury for Less" (FLYL4L.COM) before?

There are also some discussion threads on the practice of selling one's own miles to mileage brokers:

Some speak highly of mileage brokers, while some keep a safe distance from them. YMMV.
