I think you mean Hyatt house (Summerfield Suites) - there currently is not a Hyatt Place near LAX.

To answer your question - I don't really consider the property an airport hotel because of the shuttle situation - there is a way to get there on public transit - shuttle bus to the train station (Green line?) then the property is pretty close to a train stop.
