I certainly hope that Citi affords these benefits to Citibank Executive cardholders (I don't hold one so nothing in it for me in making that wish), but I've learned credit card companies can spin some interesting logic in divvying up perks to cardholders of various tiers.
I for one have a keen interest to see how Citi/AA plans to keep me the game at $450 a year. I am all ready to check out when renewal comes for the price tag of the card. I might get to Platinum this year without the 10K EQM spend bonus, which was one of my primary reasons I pursued this card, along with the Gold Lite status, which too, is not a consideration now that my travel is way up.
