And she has been doing it for years. The itinerary rarely varies. If the ship goes into dry dock, she gets the royal treatment in whatever port the ship is berthed. There used to be a woman who lived on the QEII I think. Captain would have tea with her on a regular basis.

on seabourn there was a couple that did 6 months a year
i would probably be fine on residensea (with kitchen and living room) excluding crossings. otherwise agree - only a yacht of reasonable size (not claustrophobic plus good common areas) with good stabilizers. back when nomade / bora bora was running, would have been happy to do that year round when they werent chartered.
sad there is nothing else like it.
