Earn 35,000 points after 20 nights + 15,000 points after 25 nights—up to 50,000 bonus points
Which I thought was awesome because I was planning on spending 25 nights and getting a sweet 50,000 bonus. I didn't realize until last week that the offer only started on Feb 1. So a good number of my nights didn't count. In fact it says I only qualified for 12 nights! Ugh!
Doing some research it sounds like I should have enrolled for MegaMiles instead. Any way to do this retroactively? Is there another promotion that would be more beneficial?
Thanks!
The MegaMiles is based on stays not nights, so you did the right thing crediting to points for that stay. If you have short stays credit those to mega miles, unless you need them to get the 20 nights. I'm going to be right around 20 for the quarter, but the 2 Cat 4 certs mean more to me and I'd rather get points than miles. My 20 or so nights are spread over 10 stays. I'm crediting the 4 longest to MegaBonus (for the 2 cat 4 certs) and the rest to MegaMiles. Yes, you can switch back and forth, just wait for the previous stay to credit before you switch.
