I had the same response when querying an ON vs. R. waitlisted segment from SFO to HNL, which is a 2-class aircraft. Supervisor insisted that ON is OK, even when I explained what Shannon has said in her her Master Thread regaarding a fix to that problem.

My flight isn't for a few weeks yet, so I will wait to see whether the designation changes to R, as I understand Shannon said a fix is in the works for the ON issue.
