An award reservation on *A that I had cancelled on United showed up after the conversion! Strange thing is it is a *A one way award, only the last (3rd) segment showed up.
Also, if I am confirmed on XN (elite award seat) and want to take another flight, should I be waitlisted for XN or just X?

Today I had my companion (booked on XN) rebooked on X. So at least that wasn't an issue.
If I had to guess about waitlistsing, I'd say X, because any X seat is available for an XN eligible person... it's less specific...
On the other hand, if they open up an XN seat but not an X seat for some reason... ugh. IDK
Question: right now it doesn't seem like they are opening up fare classes for same-day flight changes even though flights aren't full. Several flights tomorrow are at 60%, yet no seats below W at all. Why?
