How is a vote now different than a vote two weeks ago or two months ago? Two months ago, more than half of TB was "on the way out." Heck, one year and 50 weeks ago, more than half of TB was "on the way out."
As long as the vote doesn't overlap into the new appointment period (thus allowing more than 9 votes), I fail to see the rationale for not doing what the members want.
