A couple more other than Spiff have now made their voices heard, but I thought I'd chime in, too.

I'm very willing to support new forums that are core to the mission of FlyerTalk (miles and points). This certainly seems to fall within that category.

I'll admit that I know very little about EY, but if the statistic that 64% of the threads in the Other European Frequent Flyer Programs forum are referencing EY, that's certainly a significant sign.

I'll say that thoroughly answering the questions in this post may help to get more TalkBoard members to support this idea.

It's not a requirement to fill that out if you can otherwise somehow get 6 TalkBoard members to say yes. In the absence of that, though, filling out that questionnaire is a simple way to help you illustrate your case in a manner that makes it much easier for (especially resistant) TalkBoard members to vote "yes."
