The US card from Barclays is actually the BEST deal now. You get 40K miles first use, fee waived, 5K discount on every US award, priority boarding, lounge passes, and best of all Barclays only pulls from TransUnion, giving a break to the Experian pulls most of us have too many of. Even the lower level US card now has the 40K bonus.

Also the US card is very churnable. It's the new Citi AA churn of old.

I also put the CO biz card in my last churn as it's disappearing soon and the Hyatt as it's spend terms are changing (old 1st purchase link still available two weeks ago). I may soon do the AirTran as it's disappearing. I'm waiting on the UA Explorer as it'll be around.

After you've done many non-churnable cards it's important to grab disappearing ones.
