Something like that seems so obvious as to be a no-brainer. So what is B&N's thinking, they never considered doing something to entice Border's customers to become B&N ones, that is other than sending this e-mail advising that they have bought Border's customer list? Do they figure that if people were going into Border's stores, they will now come to B&N ones and no encouragement to increase the likelihood of them doing that is needed? They could, of course, do something along these lines at any time if they so choose, but the more time that goes by, the less of an effect such an outreach to Border's customers is likely to have.
