2060 mg!!?? That's unacceptable!! Many of the chain restaurants are using processed meats for their menu items (seasoned and cooked), so that they don't have to be as concerned with handling raw meat and training kitchen staff to cook/season food properly. If you look at their nutritional info chart, nearly all of their burgers, chicken, sandwiches, etc are over the top high in sodium. The steaks are more reasonable (being under 1,000 mg per serving) Sadly, a majority of chain restaurants, institutional places, hospitals, airline caterers, and especially grade school through high school kitchens are going this route as well. It's less labor, less thought, and IMO less creative. In the long run, we will all pay for it via obesity, hypertension, and other health issues. Salt/sodium acts as a preservative, which is helpful, but this is going to far and is absurd.
