And to top off such an epic trip, I somehow got the op-up from EK C to F for my ultra-long DXB-IAH flight.
I have no idea how this happened, as I have
zero status or miles of any kind with Emirates (never even flown them before), AND this was a reward ticket. Dumb luck or something going on behind-the-scenes? Guess we'll never know...
Wow - sounds great!
I'm currently at MUC on my way home. The lounges in the H part of the terminal are closed, and I was originally going to be offered a food voucher. I eventually realised I could go downstairs to the G lounge, where I am now.
It took me almost 2 days to recover from the BBQ/Belgian Beer Cafe. The last 2 nights were very quiet
