Are you sure? I like to have fried durian pastry usually accompanying dimsum of Hakau, Chicken feet, Roasted suckling pig, jellyfish, fried shrimp dumplings and so on..

Occasionally I will have a Japanese breakfast at home -- poached or Japanese omelette, some broiled salmon, spinach, assorted pickles, umeboshi and some miso soup.

Otherwise, a nice bowl of chicken congee is also pretty darn fantastic!!
Japanese Breakfast, especially in Japan is a favorite of mine! Especially with lots of dashimaki tamago! ^

Chicken Congee with shredded omelette, thousand years old egg, and fried dough (referred to as cakwe sometimes).. That's one of my faves too!
