But don't they charge the operating carrier for the points issued to us, so something ought to flag up on someone's system that there is an anomaly?

Hopefully they will close the a/c of any <repeat expletive>s doing this as it is a blatant attempt at fraud.

Also doesn't really address the issue as I often only have an OLCI PDF, which can also be manipulated in just the same way as an image (ie, I can change the text, but not sure what I'd do witht he 2D-barcode wotsit).
