Make sure if you are going below 14th Street you tell the driver to take the Williamsburg Bridge and not the Queens Mid Town Tunnel. Last night using Dial7s I was checking email and did not say anything. I live in the Village and taking the Williamsburg Bridge is quicker and saves the toll and I will be damn if the driver didn't take the Queens Mid Town Tunnel.
