I could not agree more! I 'got into' first class in May 09 when I was flying from LHR-AKL. EK were offering very competitive fares back then due to the recession etc. Anyway, I was quote GBP 2400 for J and just as an exercise I re-priced to F and was amazed when GBP 2700 was offered. I snapped it up! Never seen a fare remotely like that again! Oh BA wanted GBP 10,000 for the same itinerary, which involved changing to Y at SYD!!!!
