I don't understand the 'give them hell' part. It's not part of the Marriott bennies for weekends, so if they offer it be glad.
If they don't, the better half ought to be giving Marriott HQ hell, not the local property. And hopefully the better half isn't going to do a DYKWIM thing. Enjoy your stay.
