Agree. I always have a cheapie pashmina wrap in my carryon. It never even comes out of the bag unless I'm using it. It's one of the $5 jobs purchased on the streets on NYC and does the job.

Another thing I've found helps is to wear shoes with rubber soles. My feet aren't nearly as cold as if I'm wearing leather-bottom shoes.
