I just finished a very enjoyable 5 night stay at the W Boston. I was upgraded to a studio suite several days before checking in which was nice. Part of me was hoping for a larger room, but was very satisfied once I got to my room. When I first walked in, there was a plate of three tiny chocolate and caramel covered apples, a bottle of water and a personalized note from "Bill" welcoming me and thanking me for being a loyal guest. The room itself wasn't huge by any stretch, but being on the corner of the building with two walls that were floor to ceiling window was perfect (I love natural light when I'm staying in a hotel)
I didn't spend much time in the public areas, or eat at the hotel, but everything about my stay was perfect. This has become my new favorite W property, edging out Montreal in my mind.

I haven't seen a coffee maker in a W for quite a while, atleast in the last 12 months or so. I did ask for one during this stay, and they brought it up to me in what had to have been no more than 5 minutes after hanging up the phone.
