My RTWs have generally been by CX in BKK. As
serfty indicated, changes are relatively easy. I have usually just emailed CX in SYD (aus_sales) and it has usually happened within 24 hrs. Other times, I have just rung QF and they changed the reservation (on QF) and asked that the ticket be endorsed by ticketting (at the airport) prior to fronting at check-in (due to it being a paper ticket).
