Depends on how you look at it: I think my wife actually "earns" the miles when I travel. She juggles everything for our kids and our life while I am away - sometimes 11-12 days at a time. Carpool, sports, meetings, meal time, bedtime, morning rush, kids have broken bones while I'm gone......The miles are officially mine but wow does she "earn" them, meaning the travel is actually harder on her. In my case I'd give her 1/2 or maybe all the miles or let her redeem them - but who would watch the kids? I'll stay happily married.
