Prosecco is greatly under-rated (excellent choice) but the good stuff is difficult to find in the US (outside of CA). As for vodka, some of the best is the cheapest, for example TJ in LA sells Monopolowa (made in Austria 100% from potatoes and better than vodkas costing 5 times as much, including all grain vodkas which simply don't have the enzymes that potatoes provide to burn off the impurities).
