try palomar. it's at 21st and P. kimpton has a few properties in the city as well.
+1 on the Palomar. Its about 1.5 blocks off Dupont Circle (west side) and a nice property.
Mayflower is nice but pricey. They do run weekend specials around this time of year though. Or at least they have in the past.
