Nope - on some AC where the separating "bulkhead" between F and Y is a curtain, one might have a foot more legroom in the first coach row (not kidding). Also, please note that U.S. domestic first has as little as 34" pitch thanks to NW's DC9s (http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Nor...nes_DC9-30.php). I can think of a few domestic seats that are preferable to some "F" seats - one per aircraft is even on WN (think E++).

When you add international, there's absolutely no question.
