more problems...
I spoke to an agent. They told me that another agent would call back in 3 hours to help rebook. Never happened.
I'm now trying to call, and the system is quoting a wait time of over 3 hours! Any ideas on how I can break through?

They do have the auto-callback feature, so you don't have to sit on hold, but you do need to answer the phone or they move on to the next call (this happens often).
They also have the click-to-chat live online option, and an online cancellation request you can fill out so you don't need to talk to anyone - http://www.virginamerica.com/vx/cancellation-form - no fees.
