Lightbulb [Unconfirmed] Flight Schedules for United's 763 With New International Cabins

[Moderator's Note - As of 9/15/2008, the 767 that have the new config (or are undergoing conversion) are: N646, -47UA, -51, -52, -53, -56, and -57UA]

FYI (First Post here -- long time lurker)

A friend of mine from United Maintenance sent me an e-mail with the current schedule for the new 767 with the newly configured International Experience seating.

Remember that this schedule is subject to change without notice but if you want to experience the seats for yourself, try to book on one of these flights:

DATE FLT # ORIG-DEST

22NOV2007---914---SFO-IAD
22NOV2007---952---IAD-FRA
23NOV2007---953---FRA-IAD
23NOV2007---952---IAD-FRA
24NOV2007---953---FRA-IAD
24NOV2007---952---IAD-FRA
25NOV2007---953---FRA-IAD
25NOV2007---937---IAD-SFO
26NOV2007---914---SFO-IAD
26NOV2007---952---IAD-FRA
27NOV2007---953---FRA-IAD
27NOV2007---952---IAD-FRA
28NOV2007---953---FRA-IAD

That is as much information as I could get. If you need other dates, I'll be happy to see what I can get from him, but this information is pretty reliable.

Hope it helps you all out. See you out there!

BA

Thanks for sharing; I thought this might be of value to the community in it's own thread instead of burried in the massive thread of the first flight of this newly-configured aircraft.

Darn, I'm flying to IAD from the West coast on 11/26, and would happily detour through SFO, but 914 is zero'd out in both F and C that day... guess the decreased number of seats means they're already full up.

"767i" on flt 937 out of IAD to SFO 21 Nov 07

A great business upgrade on the new 767i out of IAD at 1730hrs today. It was flown into SFO for an inspection - one of the software engineers sat across (and backwards) from me. They still have some kinks to work out but it has some nice amenities. A huge UA crowd was waiting for us at the gate to get their "sneak preview".

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

I will send a follow-up e-mail to my maintenance contact at United and see if I can get more info on the December schedule. What I posted is all that he sent me yesterday. I'll post any info that I get from him at that point.

Happy Turkey Day everyone!

Wasn't sure if this was a typo, but the new 767 on the 26th is Flight #914...so if you looked up #916, you got the wrong info.

Just making sure.

When is this bird going to fly to ZRH? My flight IAD-ZRH this weekend had a seatmap change from new C to old C two days ago, but today it's back to the new C seatmap.

Bringing this to the top...

Can people "confirm" the schedule for the last couple of days?

You've GOT to be kidding me! I'm flying on flight 952 IAD-FRA on 25 Nov in C. Talk about crappy timing!

I guess that they're sending it out to SFO maintenance to fix any issues. I'm surprised that they don't send the SFO maintenance out to IAD for any issues.

As a United employee on military leave of absence, I have access to the booking information. It was originally supposed to be the new aircraft, but it got subbed out sometime this last week for the old configuration. The return flight on the 26th shows the old equipment also.

What a bummer.
