Exactly what we had in GF on LHR-ORD yesterday (June 9).

Is it just me, or does that look like a really small portion of ice cream? Almost half of the bowl is empty, even.

Currently on UA85 TLV-EWR. No sundaes, but they do have Cookies & Cream Häagen-Dazs which is new for me. They also have almond-flavored macarons which again have the perfect texture.

The ability to have perfect macarons has been the most impressive part of Polaris, to me.

That being said the hot apple turnover tart thing on top of the salted caramel gelato.....giime more of that and screw the sundae cart
My favorite dessert is mixing the apple pie in the ice cream sundae. I wish they had the apple pies both directions. I hope to mix it w Vanilla, but the salted caramel will probably work.

On UA 89 arriving today we had option of 3 "sweets" - mini apple tart, 7 layers something and another...

And the poverty paper cup of Vanilla Bean.

Glico sounds like a hospital supply company.

Glico makes Pocky.

edit: TBH, I wouldn't mind a pack of pocky instead of the sundae.

My wife would say +1. On our PEK-ORD she had 3 to begin with and then the very nice flight attendant brought her 2 more about 10 minutes later. She had not asked for them but it seems that he liked that she had the perfect pronunciation for that word.

Ezaki Glico is a huge Japanese confectionary company - and their products are very delicious including the vanilla ice cream we were served.

Any updates on if the sundae is on ex-SFO routes, it appears to be on PS but no mention of it being on international flights.

That was the advice of the FA on Monday's IAD-CDG flight, when they had the salted caramel ice cream. Good call!

Had the salted caramel gelato today on SFO-MSP, so definitely looks like the end of paper-cup desserts is not here yet.

Other than being in a paper cup though, it was quite tasty - certainly on par with other ice-cream esque desserts I've had on UA.
