It was a couple years ago, but I don't think it was California TPAC. I rarely fly those. More likely ORD/IAD->NRT...might have even been NRT-BKK or vv.

UA could definitely use a thread similar to Delta's. I've got several pictures of socks being aired out in seat back pockets, toenail cutting in seat, etc... That I'm sure I could dig out.

I once flew next to a guy that was short enough to put both feet inside the seat back pocket where he kept them for several hours.
