Saver seats in Y to Europe in Jan?

Saver seats in Y to Europe in Jan?
Hello, I am looking at booking a one way UA award ticket to anywhere in Europe UA flies in Y. It looks like there are no saver seats to any European city! Does UA just block these out far in advance as normal procedure as I saw LH but I would rather fly UA. I figure it was blocked because January is very low season to Europe. When does UA generally open up these low season Y awards?

I wonder if the OP (based on the handle) is looking from PHX to a gateway, and then not finding availability. Suggest looking from IAH or SFO or EWR first.
