Geting & using PNR for Asiana/OZ UA award flights

Does anyone have experience with OLCI for a UA MP award flight for OZ?

I'm flying out of JFK on Monday and I tried using both the OZ conf # and the UA ticket # but it gives me an error saying "Please check the date of departure or the reservation number/e-ticket number and try again."

I called in when I booked it to get my seat assignment so I know the # works.

Sorry my bad…I was too lazy to go get my phone & actually call. =D

Called them and they said…you already have a seat assignment so don't worry, just go to the First class counter at the airport.

Unable to Check In Online For Asiana Flight Booked With United

I'm having trouble with Oz online check in. Neither the Oz Confirmation ,Ticket, or Reservation numbers make it work. I have called and they say all is fine just check in at the airport.
Is this normal when on a United Reward Ticket from SGN-ICN-LAX

Changing a few words won't help your case here...
Did you get the OZ PNR from UA (because using the UA PNR won't work)

For me OLCI did not even work for OZ issued ticket ... so that doesn't come as a huge surprise to me.

I was told by Asiana that you can't do OLCI.

+1 - I had two Asiana flights last week. At the first flight check in I asked for my BP for the second flight a few days later and they did that just fine. I have never been able to check in an OZ flight issued on 016 stock.

I hope that this is an exaggeration.

OLCI is quite worthless anyway in Asia. I hardly ever waste the time to do it.

Nope - not an exageration. While I have no issues with NH checkin / advance seat registration, OZ has never worked for me and I take several OZ flights a month - and have for years...

OZ's website is really poor. Surprising given that Korea is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.

I've been able to check in online with OZ on UA award. They even have online uncheck-in which saved my butt on a last minute award change.

Was your ticket solely on OZ? My tickets are always on 016 stock and typically a segment within other airlines such as NH and UA or CA... Never works for me....

But you surely must mean OLCI and not check-in ... or you'd be somewhere stuck really badly ...

Question regarding confirming OZ flight on United mile

Hi all,

I recently booked an award flight on United miles. The itinerary used 5 different carriers. I have confirmation for every carrier except one.

I have DFW-FRA-ICN on LH, GMP-HND-HKD (GMP-HND on OZ, HND-HKD on NH). I don't have the confirmation number for the GMP-HND flight. I'm worried because I have no way of confirming it on the OZ website. The travel is in May, so I have time.

What can I do to confirm that I do have a seat on the OZ leg?
