so quick question from the 4 variants of maps and things I see on SeatGuru it seems that regardless of which 739 row 21 seems to be the good deal...exit row in front leg room but the seat does normally recline?

Just endured 5A on 3455 for the SEA-EWR red eye, the complete lack of recline and constant lav noise behind me made this a very unpleasant flight. Aircraft did have DTV, sky interior and non-functional wifi but all I wanted to do was sleep.

Another day - another 4+ hr flight on a dark 739 with non functional wifi (ship 3465). The FA reassured me as I boarded "the wifi doesn't work but this is a beautiful new plane that will safely get you to Chicago". Well, we can agree on the latter half of that, hopefully. And at least no attitude

Maybe its the new config sUA ones. I was suprisingly moved automatically from a newly non E+ seat to a E+ seat. Row, 12,14 and 15 are not E+ I was in row 12 and was rebooked to 11. I'm impressed.

Anyone have a report on row 15 for the V1/V2 aircraft? Searching is hard on things like "15F" cause its too short.. google didn't turn up anything either.
Seatguru is saying row 15 may have limited recline. UA site says nothing about row 15 (just 20 saying limited, which I've found in reality is zero).
In 12 now, which has no window.. wondering if 15F is better.

*tho if in fact there is limited recline, imho it will be almost negligible and for me if I had my choice of row 15 or row 20 (as that shows open in your seatmap image) I would take row 20 as the legroom is far superior

737-900 seat map on UA.com
I was trying to book a flight in Nov EWR-SFO. while I see this 737-900 map on UA.com with 20 First, 42 E+ and 96 E- seats with the 12 DEF is missing. I look up in seatguru, and find out there is a configuration that is very similar to that, only that it has E- seats 12 DEF and row 14, 15 and row 39. Is there a particular reason these seats being no show on the ua booking site? Could that be a future plane swap?

UA has five versions of the 739. It is not possible today to know which version you will have for a flight in November, or indeed, whether you will even have a 739.
