UK airfields designation

This is OT - but related to aviation directly (and since future BA pilots need to learn somewhere... indirectly to you all flying on BA at some future date).

The UK government has designated all airfields in the UK as 'brownfield' which means that they are in danger of being developed for housing and industrial use. The petition requests that the government designates them as 'greenfield' thereby protecting them.

Petition is here is you want to support it. Many thanks!

Thanks you. ^

This topic has been moved from the BA forum as it only has an extremely tenuous link to BA.

Once parliament is formally disolved tomorrow all business falls including petitions so no one will be able to sign it.
