[Christmas/NY] Holiday train works

For those of you holidaying or travelling over the holidays by train worth taking a look at the national rail website for the station and line closures there are a lot.

Including all trains to and from Paddington (inc. Hex and Connect) for a period of a few days.

Would have thought that this thread is for exceptional seasonal changes, Southern's petty strikes seem business as usual, no?

And the Tube drivers are also threatening strikes but nothing is announced as of yet. When their income is so staggeringly high, there's really no point in continuing to work over the holiday period when you can go on strike, lose some pay but enjoy the whole period without any interruptions.
