LHR T2 transiting question

LHR T2 transiting question
I have a connection through LHR T2 in a few weeks. I'm arriving on TK and departing on AC and I think both use the T2B satellite. Is security re-screening performed right in T2B or do they send everyone all the way over to the main terminal after which we trek all the way back? Thanks in advance.

Follow the signs for Flight Connections when you leave your TK flight.
It's a long walk.
You will go through security screening and back into departures.

Thanks for the reply. When I typed "main", I was referring to the building where check-in, immigration, and baggage claim are located. Do we get funneled all the way back there (I know we bypass immigration, etc) just to get to departures?

Essentially yes there will be a walk to flight connections and then a walk back to the gate. This is not the same as the immigration and customs area
