Cover for Rimowa?

Picked up some Rimowa pieces on a good discount in Dubai yesterday, and I do not want to get the checked piece all scratched up and would like to get a cover.

I don't believe the carry-on will face the same challengers and don't care to pick one up for that.

Thoughts on this and, if so, which cover ought I order?

Thanks.

eBay has some sellers of this kind of stuff that ships from China.

Personally not a fan of covers. Reminds me of my grandfather's couch.

What kind of covers are you talking about? Those clear plastic or vinyl decal covers may prevent minor scratches, but aren't going to do anything about dents/dings/damage from being "thrown around by [baggage handlers] and bounced around conveyor belts a hundred or so times a year"

There are also padded neoprene covers which, again, will prevent scratches but not dents or significant damage.

I use a Loqi cover. It protects from scuffs and makes your luggage stand out for easy identification.

You will have to pay attention to the sizes of luggage this cover fits.

Do you have any issues with TSA and these covers? i am interested in getting one in order to quickly identify my bag but I wonder if TSA ever puts them back on or is this a waste of time and money. Many thanks for your help.

Older thread, but you could also spray on some Plastidip which is basically a removable vinyl spray. People use it on their cars (body, wheels) for temporary color changes.
