Ah interesting. This was last weekend. Also saw a very similar white unmarked on that was leaving BKK as well.

Horrible pic sorry, had to zoom in as much as I could before we turned while taxing. Saw this thing from afar at EWR today….at first I saw a hump and 4 engines thinking it was some white 747 with an aqua tail. Then I got a better glimpse and while it was 4 engines it was big, but the wings were mounted more on the top (like the C17s above). Any idea what this is?

Anyone know who it belongs to? Is it just cargo?

Yes, cargo, and looks to be carrying Antonov company livery. We see them here at BFI all the time.

I remember seeing one of those Antonovs at BDL once where it truly dwarfed everything around it.

An Antonov An-124 used to make a fairly regular appearance at ANC. It's a medium-sized plane, kind of like a taller, fatter, stubbier 767 or something. What I'd love to see someday (and what CMK10 may have seen) is the six-engined An-225.

I think that was it, though my memory of what I saw in 2003 is a little hazier than I'd like it to be. Incidentally, the aviation museum at BDL that I was visiting is pretty good (http://www.neam.org/). That I do remember!

Great pictures! I really like the first where everything is a blur besides the plane.

FYI, the KLM plane is actually a A330-200. A dead giveaway to distinguish the A330 family from the 777 family is the winglets--330s have them, 777s don't.

Good eye, I corrected that. I think the Korean Air pic is my favourite, it is a very sharp one, I am proud of my pan on that photo!

777s also have six-wheel main landing gear and are the only commercial aircraft that do so. If it's a 777, it has six wheels. If it has six wheels, it's a 777.
