Logged in earlier this evening without a problem. Have you tried again?

I've been trying to get into FT Chat the past couple of nights but I've only been able to get the chat browser to open and that's it. The Chat dialogue box is blank and nothing appears in the "Nicknames'" box. I'm assuming others are having these problems as well. In addition, when I log off and try to log back on into chat, it states that someone with my user name is already in there. I wish that were the case lol.

I can't even get the box to pop up. I just get an error. Sometimes not even that. Has been like this for three nights now.

Why is it taking so long to fix???

Chat is st*ffed . Has been broken for me for about 9 days . To make matters worse, about 2 days ago, I couldnt post on any threads, reply to any PMs and at one point, could not even log into the FT site at all .

When I try chat, I dont get in at all, I get this type of error:

"An unknown error occurred while connecting to the DigiChat Server. Please contact the administrator blah blah blah.....

java.lang.Exception: Http:Servlet address not specified"

Come on FT admin, can you please get onto some of these issues for us? We are NOT happy campers .

Ok, thought it was just me. I try to log in when on AOL, it tells me it will take a few moments. Nothing happens. Weirdly enough if I try to go in via IE in a dif broswer/window (not AOL), it tells me I have to have the latest Java to do it (which I do).

Cheers.

And I thought that I was having more than my usual problems with Chat.

Check out the link below for a NYC Post-Freddie DO (in memory of the Freddies).

We (members of the volunteer moderation team) have been doing our best to alert the IB staff of technical issues, including this one. We've been told that they are aware of the problem, but we've not been provided an ETA for when this might be resolved.

Sorry.

Thanks for the update FH ^. Lets hope its soon.

Slightly OT: I would also really love it if IB could get onto making sure FT actually works fully for some of us Aussies . I am at only 50% functionality on this site since it first went down and now its really getting to the point of me not wanting to bother here anymore. I cant search, PMs dont work and it takes me about 10 mins to post one post like this because at least 3 times I get booted out to the "IE cannot display this webpage" message, then it might finally post. I'm patient but I am NOT that patient after nearly two weeks of this CARP . I sent messages to support and yet NO ONE answers or even gives me some indication that they realise there is a problem or that they are trying to fix the issues.
