I'd advocate creating one now.
Aer Lingus discussion dominates the 'other European airlines' section, and due to their numerous codeshare partners, flying with airlingus questions are also scattered all over other sections.
Moving these seat/lounge questions into one place would help build critical mass and pool expertise and information that is currently scattered about.
While the fate of Air Lingus and how it evolves in relation to that is currently up in the air, I don't think having a home now would hurt. In fact, it would probably benefit.

I would use an EI forum. And should FR succeed in buying them out I would like an internet forum to bemoan the loss of a decent airline.

My hunch is that the actual Gold Circle enthusiasts will be outnumbered 20 to 1 by BA and UA members asking questions about the seemingly random nature of EI partner award availability.

I just voted yes on this matter. And happily so. Would have done so sooner but have been away on business travel. I think the EI forum is going to have a great community!
