Yes, ive been looking at at least 20 different competing websites trying to brg this property but to no avail. My only hope and prayers right now is that it will come out on hotescapes prior to 3rd week of april.
My other option is stay 1 night at LM Nice (143 euros). 1 night at LM Monaco (300 euros), and another night at LM Monaco using 20k points, to minimize total costs.
I was also checking other properties by casino but my goodness, 600+ euros a night is something i cannot simply afford considering it's only an easter holiday weekend trip and not a special occasion like honeymoon or something.
Really appreciate the input. Will provide feedback as well after this trip if 300 euros/night is worth it

If nightlife is your goal, take a second look at the location of the LM Monaco. Monaco is not that large, but this hotel is some distance from the casino which is where I presume the clubs are clustered around.
We stayed in upgraded rooms on points as a Plat and those rooms were easily worth 300 Euros plus. The sea view from the hotel is beautiful, the private beach is very nice, it just doesn't have the St. Regis type service level and finish. Based on prices in comparable European locations Paris, Cannes, Rome etc.. 300 Euros is fair enough. Monaco is an expensive destination. There may be an event on that date driving up prices.

Is this property really worth 300 euros per night???
My friend is so adamant of going to monte carlo end of april and i was checking the only starwood property here...But im quite shocked on the price tag considering it's only rated as 4 stars (but spg cat 6).
He wouldnt want to stay in LM Nice though it's only a few kms away and insists that monte carlo night life and the clubs/bars are so much better and exciting in MC...
But im still shocked (for days now) with the price tag...i mean it's not hotel imperial wien nor W Opera...
So should i just bite the bullet as 300 euros/night is the going rate at this property anyways or should i find a cheaper property that's not starwood related?
After checking tripadvisor photos and reading reviews at several sites....I still cant believe theyre charging 300 euros/night on low season...
Any helpful advices on what to do would greatly be appreciated

Hotel has its own private beach but it was very crowded in summer.
The high prices and nothing particularly special about the hotel experience could be the explanation why there are no recent FT reports.
There are far better hotels in Europe in my opinion.
As SPG PLT I was upgraded both stays and will be likely upgraded next time if they are not very busy. With the free upgrade and some breakfast, 300 Euro would be a good price to pay in Monaco if I have to go there.
I had a quick look through SPG website under Specials and they do offer 3 night stays in March for as low as 156 Euro/night - about the same as few years ago. You can check whether stay 2 or 3 nights get 1 free offers are available for April. The price could go down or up depending on occupancy and what is going on in Monaco.

- I haven't stay in LM Beach Plaze since summer of 2012. Cash and points was a much better option then but it was still not worth of that. In summer 2012 the hotel was full of Russians paying cash in high denomination Euro notes...

If only my friend can leave on March as the rates are a good deal. But I think the rates on mid/late-april (of 300 euros/night) has something to do with it being easter holidays (only pure speculation).
Was checking all promos as you have suggested but they came out as more expensive, so I called CS for SPG50 and was offered 250 euros/night. Used that instead of cash and points or using all 20K/night coz I don't think 20K/night is really worth using at this property.
You've mentioned (as well as others) that you've been upgraded...Was it a suite? Planning to use my SNA's but if plats are upgraded anyhow upon check-in, might as well not use my SNAs and save them for special occasions.
PS: I completely agree that there are far better hotels in Europe for the same price so that's why I'm shocked with the price tag at LM MC

Just checked-in today. Quite surprised this hotel got a low rating on spg.com.
Staffs here are super friendly and nice, from check-in to room service to restaurant, etc.
Got upgraded to design suite on 11th floor with fantastic views. Rate paid is 250 euros SPG50.
The suites themselves dont have a room number but called a 'name' like aquarius or gemini or pretentious or fake it til you make it. Something like that.
FYI, the design suites have minimal privacy and is great for couples but not friends or family.
The bathtub is right on front the bed. Shower is in bedroom but has frosted glass so still can see. With a friend so we both agreed that whenever (actually only me, he doesnt care) i take a shower, he'll be in the living room. Also design suites have balcony.
EXPENSIVE food however. 6 cute oysters for 20 (or 26?) euros.
Highly recommended for a weekend getaway. Far from shopping area. Taxi is fixed rate at 20 euros to central and VERY difficult to find/get.
Overall, very satisfied. They will pre-auth 100 euros per night fyi on top of room rate if not prepaid. But thats standard in europe at cat 5-6 hotels.

very tempting to visit Cebu
Sounds like a plan- what's the weather like in Cebu and Palawan during mid January? We've heard great things about diving and 2 resorts, Amanpulo and Pangulasian Island. Very, very tempting...
