Thanks for those data points.
I did get my 1000 pt bonus for my 15th night. Threshold night was on Apr 11, and 1000 pts posted on Apr 15.

I am still waiting for mine. Stay was April 14-18. Have the regular points for the stay but not the points from the promo.

Q1 Promo (Double Play) discrepancy
Hello All,
I'd like to get some insight on a discrepancy I seem to be having with SPG.
Long story short, I stayed 10 nights during the period, two of which were at a non-participating hotel, and of course I didn't receive the double starpoints as expected. However, I personally interpreted the T&C a little bit (a lot) different than the chat person I was engaging because I read them to mean that every 5 nights at an eligible rate would earn the 1K bonus up to 4 times. Especially since the "Earning" section specifically references non-participating hotels, but the "Bonusing" sections does not.

But I feel like it would be a bit of a hollow victory if I was just flat wrong and they just gave me the extra 1K to make me go away.
Would you be willing to share your opinion please?

My interpretation of it is that of the chat agent. You have to stay at a participating hotel AND on an eligible rate. It is certainly how it has worked in personal experience of similar promotions.
However I can see how it isn't 100% clear, as they don't use the same language in the bonusing section as they do in earning.

SPG Marketing says that you would have had to stay at a Double Play-participating property to pick up the 1,000 Starpoints bonus for every 5 nights.
