I can't figure out how to use this thread. I'm always happy to see others getting upgraded at a specific property... but when I see it, what does it mean to me? Perhaps the other 9 people didn't get upgraded (9 of 10 I mean). So is the ratio good or bad? Plus - there is no easy way to sift through the thread going backwards to tally it up.
In any event... I thought I'd share my upgrade ratio so far in 2015:
Domestic (USA): 0/3
International: 4/4, and a check-in tomorrow that shows an upgrade already... so 5/5
Amazing difference but nothing unusual. Over the years I've seen just about the same... rarely upgraded in the US and almost always upgraded Internationally (although certainly not 100% and note that none of my travels Internationally in 2015 includes Europe yet - which would never approach this ratio).
I really with Starwood would do something about the US upgrades (or lack thereof).

You were in Flushing, and you didn't even bother to say hello. Hmm... Anyway, I've been doing poorly w/ suite upgrades for the last few years. Now it extends to foreign stays. I think the changeover to SNA-only continues.

Depends on the year & time. However all suite upgrades so far in 2015 Internationally have been Central & South America.
I'm now up to 6/6 Internationally in 2015 - an SNA in South America just cleared.

Sorry but can we please actually get this thread back on track with specific upgrade details in the outlined format! All this bickering about not being upgraded can be addressed in the numerous other threads on Platinum status. This is a specific thread and it would be nice to keep it that way and avoid all these discussions. Thanks!!!!
